Kat finished weighing Steph and jotted the number down on her note pad.

“Twelve.” She said, obviously nonplussed. “That puts you at 190.” Steph growled in frustration.

“First I can’t stop gaining weight, now I can’t seem to gain enough.” She was released from the hospital 3 days ago, and even though she had done her best to make up for lost time once again the fifteen pound milestone eluded her.

“Next week’s gonna be harder too.” Kat admitted. “The barbeque place called and said they wouldn’t let you take the brisket challenge again.”

“That’s discrimination.”Steph announced as she got off the scale.

“You can’t expect them keep giving meals away for free” Kat indicated the cow trophies that now sat on her shelf. Steph buttoned up a flannel shirt, one of the few tops that still fit her, and “fit” was a relative term. Even if she was dissatisfied with her gains Steph had made marked progress. She would probably still describe herself as simply ‘chubby’ while in reality she teetered on the line between chubby and fat and it seemed like she was favoring the fat side pretty heavily. Her belly now hung slightly over her panties and her tits had grown massive making even the most modern garments show off her incredible cleavage. She had love handles now, a fact that Kat loved to tease her about and her huge ass was displayed behind hips that now surpassed the width of her shoulders. Her thighs were undeniable and left chafed spots on the insides of her jeans where they rubbed together. Steph was huge.

“If it makes you feel any better it looks like you’ll have some more time to reach your goal though.” Kat said, pulling out her laptop. Steph squinted in distrust.

    “More time how?” She asked.

“The results came back from your blood samples.” Kat set down her the coffee she had been drinking and retrieved her laptop setting it on the desk so that Steph could see. “Purple stuff, while in the human body has a half life of 25 days--”

“But it’s been almost 50 days.” Steph interjected, clearly confused.

“Right. ‘Half life.’ That means in just under a month the amount in you is reduced by half. By now you should only have a fourth of them left floating around in your blood stream.”

“But I’m still hungry.” Steph insisted.

“I know, I know.” Kat assured. “One fourth of your original dose is still a HUGE amount. The purple stuff was supposed to be an inhalant and you drank almost a liter of it.”

“So how long before it wears off?” Kat just shrugged. Taking another sip of her coffee before continuing.

“Two months? Three at the most.” Steph’s eyes widened but she regained her composure and looked down at her belly lifting in both hands.

“And here I thought I could make it out of this under 250.” She sighed and let her tummy drop with a soft slap. “So where are we getting dinner?”

“You still want to go out?” Kat was actually surprised.

“I’ve already tried dieting and that didn’t work.” She reminded the smaller girl. “Guess I’m just doomed to be a fatty.” She shrugged and did her best to button the flannel over her bulging midsection. With a grunt she succeeded and placed her fists on her hips admiring her handy work. Kat had a skeptical look on her face as she cocked her head at the strained fabric.

Without warning Steph’s button burst from her shirt and her belly sprang back into view. The tiny plastic disk pinged off of Kat’s laptop screen before landing in her coffee cup with a soft plop. The smaller girl sighed and dropped it in the trash.

“That’s it. We’re getting you some new clothes.” She retrieved her purse from the bed. Steph groaned in protest.

“But I’m gonna lose the weight once this is all over. I don’t need them.”

“And what are you going to wear for the next three months once you put on another fifteen pounds?” Steph begrudgingly pulled on her jacket. She considered zipping it up but decided against it reluctant to destroy another article of clothing.

“Fine, but I’m not paying for it.”  She tied up the bottom of her shirt behind her back exposing her belly further, but also getting the shirt tails out of the way and at least providing the illusion that she had dressed this way on purpose.

“Yes you are.” Kat kissed her on the cheek. “Because after you do I’ll buy you whatever you want for dinner.” She pulled Steph in close and kissed her on the cheek. Both of them knew that by the end of the night Steph would be getting off far easier.

Kat and Steph stood at the entrance to the mall in front of a giant billboard with a red dot in the center. Next to the dot in neat red lettering were the words ‘You are here’

“Look how perfect this is!” Kat insisted. “They have over a dozen clothing stores, a tailor--”

“A food court!” Steph pointed. “With a Pretzel place! Oh my god, babe. I am gonna make you pay up.” Kat grabbed her by the shoulder. Guiding her in the direction of a large department store at one end of the mall. Steph didn’t see the point of this. It was hard to find clothes that matched her style before, she could only imagine how much harder it’d be now that she was sixty pounds heavier. Still, she resolved to keep her eyes for something nice. If not for her then at least for Kat’s benefit. She scanned the racks of frilly clothing cringing at the thought of wearing any of it. Soon they approached a rack of button up tops with front pockets and straps to hold the sleeves in place when rolled up to the elbow. She grabbed one off the shelf as they passed by.

“Hey. Look at this!” She held it up to her girlfriend proudly. “I could wear this.” Kat just shook her head.

“No you couldn’t. That’s a medium. Anything that tight is going to need to be at least an extra large. Besides, how is that any different that what you're wearing now?”

“Exactly! It Matches my style perfectly.” She noticed an associate walking by. “Ms.” She called after her. The retail worker spinning on a heel at the source of the call. “Do you have any shirts like this in bigger sizes.” The worker looked embarrassed.

“Sorry, if it’s not on the shelf we don’t carry it” She must have caught Steph’s disappointment because she quickly added. “There’s a plus size section in the back.”

“Plus size?” Steph asked but she was cut off by Kat.

“That’s perfect. Thank you.” She was again dragging Steph along. They reached the plus size section and Steph was greeted by a sea of ugly outfits. She reached for a navy blue blouse with puffy sleeves and a floral pattern as if it were dirty.

“This is disgusting.” She let it drop and shook off her hand as if to ensure that none of its ugliness got on her.

“Not all of it’s that bad.” Kat assured.

“Yes it is. This is all terrible. I’ll just get a pack of A-shirts and a larger pair of jeans.” Kat nodded. Looking at another top.

“I support that, but you need nice clothes too.  Not to mention a new bra. How long have you been going without one. Two weeks?”

“Was it that obvious?” Steph asked.

“To everyone.” Kat responded. “You think you can hide fat tit’s like yours?” She smiled at her girlfriend mischievously.

“Gross!” Steph insisted. Kat shrugged again.

“That’s not what your nipples are saying.” Steph slapped a hand across her chest. Her face was burning bright red.

“Either way. I’m not wearing any of this.”

“So what? You’re going to go nude?” Kat Replied incredulously.

“Come on. Frilly blouses? Floral patterns?” Kat put up a hand.

“You’re right.” She pulled out her wallet and handed her a ten dollar bill. “You’re stressed. Get yourself something from the food court, I’ll buy the boring stuff here. Once you’re feeling better we’ll both go on the hunt for something less…” she grabbed a light pink top with a ruffled collar. “...terrible.”

“You sure you know my size?”

“Are you kidding? I’ve been measuring you for weeks.”

The food court had more options than Steph had anticipated. After a brief moment of being completely overwhelmed by choices she settled on Cinnabon. She bought a large cinnamon roll and a coffee and sat down on a bench. She was more frustrated than she wanted to admit. She had never been particularly choosy about clothes, but she had never had trouble finding what she wanted either. You couldn’t throw a rock in a clothing store without hitting a size five pair of jeans. Size fifteen was a different story.

“God damn, that’s daring.” Said a voice from behind her. She turned to see a black girl with her hair done up in a poof on the front of her head. She hopped over the bench and sat next to her. “Sorry. I just love seeing girls your size who are confident about their bodies.” She gestured to Steph’s exposed belly. “Sorry if that’s too forward.”

“Uh… no, that’s fine.” Steph started, baffled by the directness of the young woman, but honestly a bit relieved to be speaking so plainly. “To tell you the truth this is more designed by necessity than choice. I’m having a bit of trouble finding something that fits.”

“No kidding? Well you’ve met the right girl.” Steph couldn’t help glancing down at the young woman’s svelte figure.

“I have trouble believing that.” The other girl rolled her eyes. And pointed across the promenade. To a clothing store. It was decorated in black and accented in hot pink.

“A plus size store?” Steph responded incredulously. “I’ll go when I get that fat. I’m not ready for that yet.”

“Oh?” the other girl put her chin in her hand and gave Steph a pitying smile. “If you ever become a fat girl.” Steph nodded and took a bit of her cinnabon.

“It’s more of a ‘when’ if I’m being honest.”

“Gotcha. Sounds to me that you’re so worried about the fat girl you’re going to be that you’re ignoring the fat girl you are now.”

“Excuse me?” The other girl put up her hands defensively.

“I overstepped. Sorry.” She stood from the bench. “Try it out though! I bet you’ll be impressed. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a movie date with a stunning redhead.” she waved and disappeared back into the mall toward the movie theatre. Steph cocked her head in confusion. She could have sworn that the young woman had been ballerina thin when she sat down but on second inspection she did seem just the slightest bit thicker. She shrugged it off and looked over at the store. No reason she couldn’t have a look.

Three sets of bra’s, five pairs of panties and a pack of plain white extra large tank tops later Kat made her way out of the store. She walked over to the food court and was surprised by what a large area it was. She looked around but couldn’t find Steph in the throng of people. She was about to pull out her phone and try calling her when she was interrupted.

“So what do you think?” Kat turned around to see Steph wearing a dark pair of jeans and a backless top accenting her significant cleavage.

“Oh my god! Steph.” Kat took a moment to find the words. “You look amazing!”

“You think so?” Steph asked. “I was going to buy more but I wanted to wait for you.” She nodded at the store across from them. Kat looked over.

“I thought you weren’t ready for a plus size store.”

“Eh. I decided to embrace the fat girl I am.” She said taking Kat by the hips. “They’ve got lingerie in there.” She suggested. “Just incase you’d like to embrace me too.”

Our heros go to the mall to by Steph some better fitting clothing with little success until Steph gets some help from an unlikley source.

Lol slightly unrealistic maybe at 250 but 175 would be light work for an athlete
